According to the Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyridenko, trade sanctions against Russia should become a comprehensive trade-blocking mechanism. She stated this during a working lunch on developing trade and investment between the EU and Ukraine. She drew attention to the fact that Russia still has the technical capabilities to produce missiles through imports from neutral states. As well, the import restrictions introduced by the EU still allow the aggressor state opportunities to earn in the EU’s markets. According to Bloomberg, supplies from the EU and G7 to countries such as Turkey, the UAE, Kazakhstan, and other Eastern Europe and Central Asia countries have increased sharply. As a result, exports from these countries to Russia increased significantly. Therefore, the EU demands a strengthening of control in situations where there is a surge in the import of advanced technologies and other goods from the EU.
