On the night of April 20, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a large-scale drone attack on eight Russian regions. The target of these attacks was the enemy’s energy infrastructure, which supplies the Russian military-industrial complex. An oil refinery in the Smolensk region and at least two electric substations in Kaluga and Bryansk were struck by drones.
Meanwhile, Russian oil refining companies have installed nets to protect high-tech equipment from Ukrainian drones.
Moreover, on April 21, explosions rang out in temporarily occupied Sevastopol in Crimea. Eyewitnesses reported that the Kommuna, a naval auxiliary ship used in submarine rescues, caught fire in Sevastopol Bay.
Previously, on April 19, Russian troops launched a missile attack on the port infrastructure in Odesa. In particular, two Pivdennyi Seaport terminals were hit, destroying agricultural products destined for Asian and African countries.
Due to Russian attacks, the number of grain wagons unloaded in the Odesa ports decreased by 91 wagons in a week.
