Negotiations regarding the extension of the agreement have reached an impasse, and no additional meetings are planned, according to a representative from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine.
According to Andriy Klymenko, the head of the Monitoring Group of the Institute of Black Sea Strategic Studies, as of May 15 only one grain initiative vessel was left at the ports of Odesa and Chornomorsk.
Because of this, a member of the agrarian committee, Serhiy Labaziuk, reported that the parliament was preparing for a possible agrarian crisis and registered the relevant draft law. He clarified that using multiple road and rail checkpoints is the primary contingency plan. But for this, it is necessary to consolidate with international partners. This will make it possible to launch export corridors which the enemy cannot block as it is currently doing with the sea routes.
