Ukraine and Denmark will introduce an investment acceleration mechanism.

The Ukrainian Ministry of Economy, following the Danish-Ukrainian Business Forum, reported: “Ukraine needs to increase private investment for the rapid recovery of our economy. Today, we signed a memorandum that provides for the launch of a fast-track mechanism between the governments of our countries, which will act as a single point of entry for overcoming the barriers faced by Danish companies and investors in Ukraine.”

The memorandum provides for regular meetings of representatives of both countries with Danish companies to discuss the problems of doing business in Ukraine and establish constant communication between the governments to resolve them.

According to the Danish Minister for Industry, Business and Financial Affairs, Morten Bødskov, Danish companies are ready to participate in Ukraine’s reconstruction and share their knowledge in many areas, from green energy to strengthening critical infrastructure.

The document is an extension of a memorandum signed in April 2024, which provided about €40M for Denmark’s EIFO investment fund and an additional €380M to support critical infrastructure.
