On September 4, Minister of Economy Yuliya Svyridenko and Federal Minister of Economy of Austria Martin Kocher signed the Framework Intergovernmental Agreement on Economic Cooperation in the Development of Projects. Priority is given to projects in the health care field, including the construction of the Okhmatdit National Children’s Specialized Hospital, a modern university clinic in Kyiv, and the creation of the National Rehabilitation Center in Lviv. €500M in investment under guarantees from European export credit agencies will be sought. The effective rate is not expected to exceed 3% per annum, and the loan period will be up to 14 years. According to the agreement, the countries will also intensify bilateral economic relations in investment, innovation, and implementation of economic projects.
