reports the Kyiv Post. Former Finance Minister Oleksandr Danyliuk was disqualified July 29 from running for head of the newly created Bureau of Economic Security. Danyliuk was disqualified for not producing a Ukrainian Education Ministry document recognizing his Mba from Indiana University’s Kelley School of Business. Later, Danyliuk reportedly complained on Facebook that the head of the selection committee, ex-Economy Minister Tymofiy Milovanov, “admitted that he had complied with an instruction from the president’s office to remove me from the competition.” The next day, at Danyliuk’s birthday party, the pair reportedly traded punches.
