Earlier this year, a bid to get more business for Polish truckers, Poland slashed the highway permits for Ukrainian truckers by nearly 40%, to 160,000 a month. While Polish truckers generally shun driving into Ukraine, Ukrainian truckers camp outside Ukrainian government offices for 3-4 days to get one permit.
