The President’s Office expects to see the privatization of three large enterprises: The United Mining and Chemical Company (OGHC); The Centrenergo, and The Odesa Port Plant, in 2022. The privatization of the United Mining and Chemical Company (OGHC) was postponed three times in 2021 due to a lack of potential buyers and insufficient availability of time to analyze the company. The Deputy Head of the President’s Office, Rostislav Shurma acknowledged that a certain level of mistrust has accumulated and held back strategic investors. At the same time, in his opinion, the first ten objects will be bought from us cheaper than they could theoretically cost.
Three significant privatizations are expected in 2022.
