On the morning of October 1, ships loaded with grain and ore used the temporary sea corridor and left the ports of Chornomorsk and Pivdenny. At the same time, five more ships are moving to Ukrainian ports for loading. They should take almost 120,000 tons of Ukrainian agricultural products to African and European countries.

As NYT writes, the freight vessels are passing near the western coast of the Black Sea near NATO member countries, which help monitor Russian activity at sea with the help of air patrols.
Meanwhile, the Russian Federation continues to attack grain infrastructure on land. The occupiers attacked Uman with kamikaze drones on the night of October 1 and damaged grain warehouses. Also, an agricultural enterprise in the Mykolaiv Region was struck.
