Thirty-nine gas distribution stations have been shut down.

Gas prices in Europe have increased to $1,350 in October.

Gas Distribution during War

As of March 6, 39 gas distribution stations were closed in seven regions of Ukraine due to shelling by Russian troops, announced the GTS Operator of Ukraine.  The press release states, “Currently, 39 gas distribution stations in the Kharkiv, Donetsk, Zaporizhia, Kyiv, Luhansk, Mykolaiv, and Kherson regions remain shut down.” Furthermore, it is noted that the Gas TSO dispatchers of Ukraine also recorded a sharp jump in pressure in the gas transmission system, which indicates damage to the main gas pipeline from Kramatorsk to Donetsk-Mariupol. As a result, about a million consumers of the Donetsk and Zaporizhia oblasts do not have gas.
