That is how many enterprises with Polish capital currently operate in the region, in which more than $2.5M has been invested, the Zhytomyr OVA reported.
It is noted that these enterprises employ 10,000 residents from local communities. These enterprises specialize in producing ceramic tiles and sanitary ware, agricultural machinery and equipment, electrical distribution and control equipment, industrial refrigeration and ventilation equipment, and machinery for the cultivation of grain and leguminous crops.
Poland is among the ten largest trade partners of the Zhytomyr region. According to 2022’s results, the region’s trade turnover with Poland amounted to $292.3M. Export operations totaled $123.6M, 40.6% more than in 2021, and import operations amounted to $168.7M, 100% more than the previous year.
