The US is developing a backup plan for the export of Ukrainian grain.

The Volyn region is preparing to receive agricultural products and to store and transport them to European countries, reported Interfax-Ukraine. The Volyn region is building a large dry port for processing a large amount of grain in the region, said the head of the Volyn regional military administration, Yuriy Pogulyajko.  Many local farmers are building large storage facilities and preparing to store this year’s crop. According to the Volyn administration, the region has enough capacity to store its grain and is preparing to receive the harvest from the Zaporizhia and Mykolaiv regions.
