AIM-9M air defense missiles, air defense system components, and additional ammunition for HIMARS will be included in the US’ $200M package of military aid for Ukraine. In addition, the package will contain 155 mm and 105 mm caliber artillery shells, high-speed anti-radiation missiles, HARMs, TOW missiles, Javelins, and AT-4 anti-tank systems.
Meanwhile, the Ministry of Defense of the Czech Republic has issued licenses for the commercial supply of 117 billion crowns (€4.7B) in military equipment to Ukraine.
In addition, Latvian Defense Minister Andris Spruds emphasized that the country is ready to continue and deepen its cooperation and will seek new partners for the drone coalition.
Moreover, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz issued a statement promising to arm the Armed Forces of Ukraine with an additional Patriot air defense system by the end of this year, announcing the maintenance of €8B in direct military aid to Ukraine next year.
