The US should invest $10B in the Ukrainian defense industry to change the situation on the front and strengthen its defense.

The Ukrainian-American defense accelerator MITS has calculated that $10B invested in the Ukrainian defense industry can significantly change the situation on the battlefield, create a strategic bridgehead in a key sector, provide leverage over adversaries, and strengthen US defense capabilities with the help of battle-tested innovations.

Ukraine has developed equipment with capabilities that the US currently does not possess. For example, the average cost to produce one drone in the US is many times higher than in Ukraine. At the same time, the flight range and payload of Ukrainian products are greater, they are controlled by AI, and are resistant to radio-electronic interference. These innovative weapons systems are not only much cheaper than their Western counterparts but also available for rapid deployment.

This year, the production of Ukrainian weapons will double, and an alternative to Chinese components can be found in the US. Ukraine also has a critical mineral base that can be incorporated into the US defense supply chain.
