Pentagon spokesman Pat Ryder stated that after the US Congress approved additional funding and by mid-October, the US had delivered 83% of critical ammunition to Ukraine, including 155 mm artillery shells, GMLR, Patriot and NASAMS anti-aircraft missiles, and rockets.

“We also delivered 67% of our promised air defense capabilities, including Stinger and Hawk missiles, and 60% of our firepower capabilities, including small-diameter bombs and 105mm ammunition,” Ryder said.

The Pentagon added that as of November 12, more than $9B in aid remains unspent. In particular, $7.1B is under the PDA program, and about $2.2B is available through the USAI program.

According to former Pentagon official Tony Hu, Taiwan has donated a large batch of Hawk air defense systems to Ukraine. This is about 15 batteries, which can provide a third of Ukraine’s entire air defense. Taiwan could also supply the Armed Forces with MIM-23 “Homing All-the-Way Killer” missiles.
