The United States is prepared to send USD 1.5B a month to the government of Ukraine over the next four to five months, announced First Deputy Assistant Secretary of State Derek Hogan in Washington. “We will focus on ensuring the continuity of the government – in fact, it is possible to make ends meet, with direct budget support. We have already allocated $1B and plan more, about $1.5B a month for the next four to five months,” Hogan said. The US support will also include food security, media coverage and support, providing psychological assistance to war victims, and more.
