The US has not ruled out signing a mineral agreement with Ukraine quickly, though several conditions have been given.

Donald Trump’s ally, Republican Congressman Brian Fitzpatrick, asserted after discussions with head of the Office of the President of Ukraine Andriy Yermak that a mineral agreement between Ukraine and the US will be signed soon.

“We are 100% getting this train back on the rails. This agreement will be signed, paving the way for a strong long-term economic partnership between the US and Ukraine, which will ultimately lead to security assistance,” Fitzpatrick stated.

Trump’s national security adviser, Mike Waltz, noted that the US president is open to resuming negotiations on a mineral agreement, but President Zelenskyy must change his position on the war and express regret over his dispute with Trump.

According to US Vice President JD Vance, the best way to defend Ukraine against future Russian invasion is the promotion of American economic growth in Ukraine’s future.

Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal confirmed Ukraine’s readiness to sign a mineral deal with the US.
