 The United States expects new announcements of arms and equipment supplies to Ukraine at the June 15 meeting of nearly 50 countries, known as the Rammstein format, stated the US Department of Defense. Ukrainian officials have previously said that without the influx of new weapons, it will be increasingly challenging to halt Russia’s gradual progress in the Donbas or to reclaim the occupied territories. The official did not specify which countries would announce new security packages or which would include these supplies. However, the US works closely with other countries to supply Ukraine’s armed forces with necessary weaponry.
