The US demands Ukraine provide a detailed plan for strikes against the Russian Federation before granting its permission; Britain has already made a positive decision.

Ukraine secretly received long-range ATACMS and used them last week, while Scholz once again has refused to provide Taurus missiles.

The US demands Ukraine provide a detailed plan for strikes against the Russian Federation before granting its permission; Britain has already made a positive decision.

The US and the UK have made it clear that they are ready to agree to Ukraine’s request to use Western-provided weapons for deeper strikes into Russia, but they require a clear list of objects that Ukraine is targeting. The allies want to better understand what targets Kyiv wants to hit and why.

During a visit to Kyiv, the US Secretary of State and the head of the British Foreign Ministry did not rule out granting permission, but said that the US president would discuss the issue in more detail during a meeting with the British prime minister in Washington this Friday.

Zelenskyy, in turn, plans to discuss the issue at a meeting with Biden this month in New York at the annual UN General Assembly debate. A decision is unlikely to be made by that time.

Sources in the British government claim that the decision to allow Ukraine to use Storm Shadow missiles against targets in Russia has already been made.

Also, according to CNN, Ukraine has already spent most of the American ATACMS missiles capable of hitting targets within the Russian Federation.
