The US and the G7 promise severe sanctions if more Ukrainian territories are annexed.

The US, together with their allies, are ready to implement immediate steps that will lead to severe consequences for the Russian Federation’s economy if it annexes Ukraine’s territory, where pseudo-referendums are currently being held, White House spokeswoman Karine Jean-Pierre said.
