The United States will provide Ukraine with $2.5B for state services.

On February 24, the World Bank Group announced additional grant funding for Ukraine in the amount of $2.5B. This is direct budgetary support for the Ukrainian government, which will be provided to ensure the continuity of basic services and the implementation of the government’s primary functions during wartime conditions. The funds allocated by USAID will be used to support the education and health care system and pensions, provide financial assistance to internally displaced persons, support social assistance programs, and finance the salaries of public sector workers. Since February 2022, the World Bank has mobilized $20.6B in financial support for Ukraine. More than $18B has already arrived in Ukraine, according to data as of February 24, 2023.
