Twenty-seven representatives of the US foreign policy elite have signed a letter to the administration of President Joe Biden with a proposal to provide a restricted no-fly zone over Ukraine to protect humanitarian corridors, reported Politico. “We, the undersigned, call on the Biden administration, together with NATO allies, to establish a no-fly zone over Ukraine, starting with the protection of humanitarian corridors agreed upon in talks between Russian and Ukrainian officials,” the letter said. According to the signatories, NATO leaders must convey to the Russians that they do not seek a direct confrontation with Russian forces and make it clear that they will not tolerate Russian attacks on civilian areas.
