No ships will move through the Ukraine crop-export corridor on Wednesday, the United Nations said, as risks for Black Sea shipments grow. The decision was made by representatives from the UN, Turkey, and Ukraine at the Joint Coordination Center that facilitates the Ukraine grain-export deal, according to a UN statement. The coordination center participants didn’t explain why. Over the weekend, Russia suspended its role in the pact, citing drone strikes against its naval vessels. The agreement had revived Ukraine’s seaborne trade in grains during the war.
