The Ukrainian gas pipeline will be upgraded to optimize the operation of the gas storage facility involved in global supplies and foreign gas storage.

The state gas company explained that the improved gas pipeline will maximize the efficiency of the nearby underground gas storage, which is directly involved in global fuel supplies and foreign traders’ gas storage in the customs warehouse model. The updated gas pipeline will strengthen the advantages when planning new, non-standard, and effective operational methods for the underground gas storage network in the western region. It also will allow for natural gas conservation and protecting the environment from emissions while preparing underground gas storage network facilities for planned repairs.
