The authorities of Kyiv are doing everything to prevent a total blackout. But such a scenario is still possible, and various options are being calculated, said the mayor of Kyiv, Vitaliy Klitschko. According to him, the capital stockpiled diesel fuel, electric generators, a large supply of food and drinking water, and heating points are being equipped. There will be at least 1,000 such points in the capital. However, the mayor admitted that this is still not enough for the capital’s needs, and he has called on the people of Kyiv to think in advance about options for temporary housing with a separate water supply and heat in case of a “bad scenario”. Klitschko also called on the people of Kyiv to provide themselves with drinking and technical water supplies, charged power banks, food supplies, and warm clothing and bedding.
