The U.S., Sweden, Switzerland, Great Britain, and Canada launched a £35M fund for Resilient Ukraine.

“Today, we started the Partnership Fund, for a Resilient Ukraine,” said Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk. The US Charge d’Affaires Kristina Kvein noted that the USA, through USAID, intended to increase its contribution to the fund from $5M to $10M. Canadian Ambassador to Ukraine Larisa Galadza stressed that Canada is contributing between CAD10M and CAD15M to the fund to contain the escalation. Also, according to British Ambassador to Ukraine Melinda Simmons, the UK will contribute £11.5M to the fund over three years. Sweden is donating $5M to fund, said Swedish Foreign Minister Ann Linde. Switzerland also has intentions to contribute.
