The state-owned banks received 7.6% more profit.

In the third quarter of this year, state-owned banks earned UAH 11.6 bln ($426 mln), 7.6% more than in the previous quarter. 82.9% (UAH 9.6 bln) was attributed to the profit of PrivatBank. As the Ministry reported, in the third quarter, banks continued increasing lending. Compared to July 1, 2021, the loan portfolio of public sector banks rose by UAH 21.6 bln (by 9.2%), of which UAH 16.7 bln – an increase in loans to legal entities, UAH 4.9 bln which is an increase in the credit portfolio of individuals.
