The state budget paid UAH 2.5B for Chinese loans.

The Ministry of Finance transferred UAH 2.5B ($88M) in loans to the Chinese bank, Eximbank, in payment for the State Food and Grain Corporation debt. Of the $96.4M the corporation was due to pay China on January 21, the state trader paid only $8.8M. The remaining $87.6 M was paid by the Ministry of Finance under the state guarantee, about UAH 2.5B. As a reminder, In December 2012, the State Property Fund of Ukraine received a $1.5B loan from Eximbank of China under the state guarantee for the supply of Ukrainian grain to China.
