The state budget of 2022 allocated UAH 1 bln ($37 mln) for the “Drinking water” program

, announced the Minister of Community and Territorial Development, Oleksiy Chernyshov. The program includes the building and reconstruction of water intake facilities, water treatment facilities, water supply networks, and sewage treatment plants using the latest technologies. In addition to these upgrades to water infrastructure, the introduction of drinking water treatment plants in centralized water supply systems is envisaged.
