In the banking sector of Ukraine, the share of non-performing loans (NPL) decreased by 2.9 percent in February to 26.6% , down from 29.5%, as reported by the National Bank of Ukraine. It is noted that the volume of non-performing loans decreased by UAH 46.3B in February. The significant improvement in the NPL share is due to the withdrawal of banks with Russian capital from the market. It will be recalled that the share of non-performing loans (NPL) in the loan portfolio last year decreased by 11 percent, from 41% on January 1, 2021, to 30% on January 1, 2022.
