After the missile attack on Poltava on September 3, Russia carried out an air raid on Lviv the next day. As a result of this attack, seven people died, including three children, and another 53 were injured.
In total, on the night of September 4 the enemy launched 42 cruise missiles and attack drones into Ukrainian territory. Ukraine’s Air Defense Forces shot down 29 enemy targets.
In addition, as of the morning of September 4, the number of deaths from the attack on the military training center in Poltava increased to 53, and the number of injured to 298 people.
US President Joe Biden, commenting on the attack on Poltava, “condemned the terrible attack.”
Biden continued by saying, “This attack is a tragic reminder that Putin continues his despicable attempts to break the will of a free people.”
However, Biden continues to maintain the position that the US will continue to provide air defense systems to protect civilians but will not allow Ukraine to strike the enemy with US-made long-range missiles on Russian territory.
