On the night of November 6, enemy troops attacked Odessa with various types of missiles and attack drones. The Russians directed Shahed-131/136 drones in an attack on the city’s port infrastructure. The impacts damaged warehouses, special unloading equipment, and railcars loaded with grain.
Rockets also hit the center of Odessa and an industrial building. The blast wave damaged several high-rise residential buildings and a museum in the historic part of the city, which is a UNESCO World Heritage site.
As a result of the Russian night attack on Odesa, eight residents were injured. Ukrainian defenders destroyed 15 drones and an X-59 missile.
Also, on November 5 the enemy dropped 87 bombs on populated areas in the Kherson region – the largest such attack to date. The Zaporizhzhia region was hit 159 times, and 23 populated areas came under fire.
