The price of land in Ukraine has increased by 15% in dollar terms in one month.

In July 2025, the average price per hectare of agricultural land in Ukraine was ₴69,628 ($1,678), while in June its value was ₴60,789 ($1,465), reported Opendatabot, an analytical portal. The increase in the per hectare price amounted to $213, or 15%. In July of last year, the average price per hectare was ₴51,600 ($1,258 at the July 2024 exchange rate).

Currently, the area of land being sold is also growing, with 21,611 hectares last month against 20,852 hectares in June. If we compare these figures year-over-year, in July of 2024 20,068 hectares were sold.

The most expensive land is in Ivano-Frankivsk region, where the price per hectare is ₴180,137 ($4,342). High prices can also be observed in the central part of Ukraine. As expected, the lowest prices are in the frontline regions. For example, in the Donetsk region, land costs ₴30,665 ($739.2) per hectare. Slightly higher prices are observed in the Zaporizhzhia region with ₴35,246 ($849.6) per hectare.
