The Polish border blockade extends to Germany and Lithuania, and Polish carriers will join the farmers on the Ukrainian border.

Polish carriers plan to resume their protests on the Ukrainian border starting March 1. Their protests had paused in January of this year.

According to RMF FM, the carriers want to join the blocking of four crossings. They complain that Ukrainians are pushing them out of the market. They demand the return of the transportation permit system.

Meanwhile, Polish farmers blocked a border crossing with Germany near Frankfurt am Oder. Traffic was also blocked on the German side. In Germany, farmers are protesting against a planned reduction in subsidies for agricultural diesel fuel.

In addition, on March 1, Polish farmers want to block the checkpoint on the border with Lithuania. The strikers will check whose agricultural products are being transported across the Lithuanian-Polish border.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy, commenting on the situation on the border with Poland, emphasized that using Ukraine to pressure European institutions is unfair.
