The US is ready to provide Ukraine with military aid immediately after Congress' approval.

The Pentagon promises to support Ukraine until the end of Biden's presidency and to exhaust all its remaining funds.

Pentagon deputy spokesperson Sabrina Singh confirmed the US’ commitment to continue military aid to Ukraine until the end of the current Biden administration. In particular, the presidential aid packages and the USAI (Ukraine Security Assistance Initiative) will remain active during this period.

“We still have about $2B left in USAI to allocate. Therefore, in the coming weeks, we will continue to provide packages,” she emphasized.

Singh stated that military support will continue to arrive regularly. The official also emphasized that Ukraine has bicameral and bipartisan support in Congress.

“There will be a change of administration in January, but support for Ukraine remains strong,” the Pentagon’s deputy spokeswoman notes.

Singh gave her assurance that the US has enough weapons in stock and sufficient production to use the remaining $4B authorized by the Presidential Drawdown Authority.

“We will use the powers of the PDA before the deadline,” she stressed.
