The US and other NATO countries plan not only to give Ukrainian troops advanced weapons but also to conduct the necessary training on their use and in combat operations. This will provide an opportunity to gain an advantage in hostilities with the Russian occupiers. These plans concern a future counteroffensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, US Defense Minister Lloyd Austin said in Brussels. At the same time, he emphasized that it is expected to achieve measurable tactical success and strong position. Therefore, the partners are focused on transferring means to the Armed Forces and creating opportunities for their successful use. Discussions are underway regarding plans to conduct special training for Ukrainian defenders on new weapons, as well as additional training in maneuvering, fire integration, equipment support, and maintenance.
