The number of IT vacancies has significantly decreased.

In June, job offers for IT specialists made up 12.5% of all job offers, reported grc.ua. This percentage is almost as high as it was at the end of 2021 and even slightly more than in January 2022. However, despite the high share of IT vacancies, their number in actual terms decreased due to the crisis. The number of vacancies for IT specialists is only 21% of the number from before the war. At the same time, according to the number of open vacancies and submitted resumes, a positive trend has been observed regarding the available offers and the activity of job-seekers in the IT field since May. The most significant number of IT job offers in June was in Kyiv, 52%. The Lviv IT cluster is looking for fewer specialists this month than the capital, offering only 12% of all open vacancies. Most IT employers are looking for engineers (19.2%), developers (15.9%), specialists in enterprise management systems (11.3%), web engineers (10.2%), and web administrators (10.2%).
