The Prime Minister of the Netherlands, Dick Schoof, during his visit to Zaporizhzhia, announced a new aid package for Ukraine worth more than €200M, mainly focused on the protection and repair of the energy infrastructure. “We must do everything possible to help Ukraine continue to move forward. Not only on the front line, but also in people’s everyday lives,” he said, giving his assurance that Ukraine can count on further support from the Netherlands. “The cessation of Russian attacks on Ukraine corresponds to the security interests of both the Netherlands and Europe as a whole,” the prime minister emphasized.
Also, the Romanian government approved a draft law allowing the transfer of a Patriot anti-aircraft missile complex to Ukraine and sent it to the parliament for an urgent final vote. In particular, the proposed legislation stipulates that the Patriot anti-aircraft missile complex will be a “donation” to a third party. After the parliament passes the law, the government will be able to make the donation to Ukraine.
