The funds will also go towards the purchase of generators to ease the course of the next winter, said Dutch Foreign Trade Minister Liesje Schreinemacher.

So, €40M is targeted as financing for agricultural companies to purchase seeds and replace agricultural machinery. The money is provided as a loan guarantee.

Another €60M is intended to buy generators and make road repairs. The mentioned funds are the first part of €2.5B in financial support, which the Netherlands promised to Ukraine at the beginning of 2023.

And the EBRD and Spain will provide another €100M in guarantees for food security and Ukraine’s municipal sector.
