One of the largest Ukrainian thermal power plants (TPP) in the Zaporizhzhya region has stopped working due after running out of coal. Zaporizhzhya TPP in Energodar was forced to stop working due to a lack of coal, which could not be delivered to the occupied city. The mayor of the occupied city also stressed that it was impossible to organize a regular supply of coal due to the occupation and constant fighting in southern Ukraine, which has destroyed infrastructure, including bridges and railway sections. The shutdown of the TPP will not affect the population of the city in terms of public services because it will be transferred to Zaporizhzhya Nuclear Power Plant (ZNPP).
