On March 1, the Ministry of Finance paid off 1-year military OVDP bonds worth more than UAH 27B, issued at OVDP auctions on March 1, 2022. The ministry reminded observers that a year ago, at the first auction for the sale of military bonds, investors bought securities worth more than UAH 8B; they invested in 2-month and 1-year military bonds. The nominal rate of return on 2-month papers was 9.7%, and on 1-year securities was 11%. Due to the issuance of military OVDP bonds, the state attracted more than UAH 200B to the state budget in 2022 and about UAH 25B already in 2023.
