Ukraine’s power system is being repaired, and the energy supply is improving daily. If there are no new attacks from Russia, then there will be no emergency shutdowns in the near future, only scheduled ones, Energy Minister Herman Galushchenko said. In addition, the downtime will be reduced. However, it will not be possible to completely abandon shutdowns due to thermal generation damage, which cannot be restored quickly. Galushchenko explained that the restoration of the energy system will follow two parallel paths. The first is the fastest possible repair of energy facilities to restore the electricity supply. The second is a complete restructuring of the energy system. As of the morning of November 30, electricity producers provided 73% of consumption needs, and the electricity deficit accordingly decreased to 27%.
