The Minister of Economy of Ukraine, Yulia Svyridenko, held a series of meetings with US companies Steel, NuScale, JPMorgan, General Electric, MUFG Bank, Honeywell, Halliburton, Mastercard Inc, among others. Business representatives are interested in Ukraine’s investment potential and have begun to evaluate projects for possible capital investment. Prospective areas of cooperation are the construction of smart networks, the introduction of industrial batteries and other balancing capacities, gas extraction using advanced drilling technologies, and green metallurgy using direct reduction iron. It is also planned to establish strategic partnerships for attracting direct investment and debt capital with all the world’s leading investment banks. According to the Ministry of Economy, dialogues with MUFG and JPMorgan are already underway.
