The Fund’s authorized capital is UAH 3 bln ($112 mln), said the Minister of Agriculture of Ukraine, Roman Leshchenko. The Fund will provide guarantees of up to 50% of the outstanding principal amount and guarantees for the term of the loan agreement, but not more than 10 years. The primary condition – the ownership or use of farmers should be no more than 500 hectares of land, and they must specialize in the primary production of agricultural products. According to Leshchenko, there is confirmation from the EU to allocate a grant of €50 mln to replenish the authorized capital of the Fund.
