About 23,000  km of roads have been destroyed during the war, and the total road infrastructure losses have already reached UAH 900B ($30B), said the deputy chairman of State Agency Ukravtodor, Andriy Ivko. Out of the 23,000 km of public roads destroyed, 8,000 km were state roads, and 302 artificial structures were damaged. Restoration work needs to be performed almost all over the country, and most importantly, we are clearing and resuming temporary crossings in three regions – Kyiv, Chernihiv, and Sumy,” Ivka said. According to him, 500 km of roads, both state roads and municipal roads, have already been cleared including 212 km of streets in Irpen, Bucha, and Hostomel. In addition, 18 temporary crossings, detours, and detours have already been built to allow traffic to resume.
