The largest Ukrainian agricultural holdings lost up to 17% in one week.

The share prices of eight Ukrainian agricultural holdings last week (January 14-21) fell from 2.2% to 16.7%, reported Interfax. The securities of the IMK group of companies fell by 16.7%, Astarta by 15.1%, and Milkiland by 14.4%. In addition, the shares of KSG Agro fell by 13.8%, MHP by 8.5%, and Agroton by 8,3%. The Securities of the Kernel agro-industrial group fell the least, dropping by 3.3%. The significant sell-off of Ukraine’s securities is mainly due to escalating tensions between Russia and Ukraine and high expectations of a possible attack by the Russian Federation.
