The Black Sea grain deal, brokered by the UN and Turkey, was signed by representatives from Russia and Ukraine in July and is scheduled to expire on November 22. However, the Black Sea grain deal will continue after the due date, said Ukrainian Infrastructure Minister Oleksandr Kubrakov. He made this comment during a meeting with Turkish Defense Minister Hulusi Akar in Istanbul. However, Russian government officials, including President Vladimir Putin, cast doubt on the deal’s future this week. The Ukrainian minister also emphasized the importance of getting faster ship inspections by the Joint Coordination Center to allow a significant increase in grain export volume to the countries of Africa, Asia, and Europe.
