The government has allocated €340M to restore social and critical infrastructure in 10 regions.

The money was provided to Ukraine under the financial agreement between Ukraine and the European Investment Bank (EIB) within the Ukraine Recovery Program. According to the Ministry of Regions, it is planned to implement 83 projects to restore and construct infrastructure facilities in the de-occupied territories of Zhytomyr, Kyiv, Sumy, and Chernihiv regions, and Vinnytsia, Dnipropetrovsk, Kirovohrad, Odesa, Poltava, and Cherkasy regions. The funds will primarily be used to restore schools, kindergartens, hospitals, health centers, heating, water supply, and drainage facilities. Consistent with the EIB program’s requirements, the construction and restoration must be carried out according to barrier-free and energy efficiency specifications.
