Ukraine and Poland discussed the inclusion of the Polish Export Credit Agency (KUKE) in war risk insurance. According to the Ministry of Economy this was discussed during a meeting between Deputy Minister of Economy and Trade Representative of Ukraine Taras Kachka and Government Commissioner for Polish-Ukrainian Development Cooperation Jadwiga Emilewicz.
As Kachka emphasized, ”We and our Polish partners are working to attract investment in Ukrainian business for its restoration, including from Polish and Ukrainian entrepreneurship development funds. An important component of this process can be the insurance of military risks from the side of KUKE – the Export Credit Agency of Poland”.
He noted that private investment will become the basis of Ukraine’s reconstruction and restoration. War risk insurance will enable foreign investors to start cooperation with Ukrainian businesses and work on the restoration.
