The European Parliament calls to provide Ukraine with fighter jets and all weapons without exception.

The European and Ukrainian flags stand next to each other

On February 16, members of the European Parliament adopted a resolution in support of Ukraine before the anniversary of Russia’s full-scale invasion. They called on the international community to supply Ukraine’s Armed Forces with all types of weapons without exception. At the meeting, 444 deputies supported the document, 26 voted against it, and another 37 abstained. The resolution supports the provision of military aid for as long as necessary and calls for serious consideration of the possible transfer of fighter jets, helicopters, and missile systems as well as significantly increasing the amount of ammunition sent to Kyiv. Victory over the aggressor state can only be achieved by continuing support and steadily increasing all types of weapon supplies to Ukraine without exception, the EP emphasized.
